DESCRIPTION:
The 1 up and 1 down set-up is designed for groove. The unique Maple and Walnut shell composition results in a clear and focused rack tom, a fat and dense floor tom, and a bass drum with a balance of punch and boom. With its 12" and 16" tom sizes, this set-up is a great starting point for building a custom configured kit. Individual drums in a variety of sizes are available in each finish.

FEATURES:
The 1 and 1 down set-up allows players to position their ride closer in, yet still delivers big toms sounds for groove-based rock. The commonly preferred 12x9, 16x16, and 22x18 sizes and the availability of a wide range of component sizes allow players to easily add to this kit to create their ideal set-up.

The Maple and Walnut hybrid shell produces a strong attack and a rich tone that projects well in live settings and tracks perfectly in the studio. It's the classic Saturn sound.
For players preferring bass drum mounted toms, an easy to install Free-Floating Bass Drum Mount is sold separately. The mount is suspended on full-length rails, allowing the bass drum to maintain a fuller sound. The mount can be positioned anywhere along the rails, forward or back, helping players find their ideal rack tom distance
