With solid lower-end, the American Walnut Series blends power with darker tonal character. American Walnut is a figured hardwood with great low-mid response. With a tighter grain than Maple, Walnut produces fewer high frequencies. Darker in tone, and looks, than Bubinga it has a richness, that while prominent, is not over stated, consistently producing full yet balanced tonal character whether tuned up or down.

American Walnut shells are 7 ply and are available in four beautiful high gloss lacquer finisher. Almost Identical to our Fusion X configuration, the US Fusion X includes a 16" floor tom instead of a 14" floor tom. Again, all toms are the new shallow sizes for extra attack and better positioning options and the 16inch floor tom add that extra bottom end sound. The US Fusion X D includes an extra deep (20" deep) 22" Bass Drum.
